The LEAD programme is supported by the following Partners:

The Primary Funder of the LEAD programme is The Fédération Equestre Internationale (FEI) and more specifically, the FEI Solidarity programme FEI Solidarity is the programme launched in 2011 to develop and fund equestrian sport worldwide in a sustainable and structured way.

Inspired by Olympic Solidarity, it’s about the equestrian community pulling together to enable exciting new projects and programmes from grassroots to elite level.

The South African Equestrian Federation (SAEF) is the representative body for equestrian sport in South Africa. We are registered with SASCOC, SRSA and are the South African representatives at the FEI. We ensure adherence of the Sports Act, the rules and regulations of SASCOC and Discipline Constitutions in South Africa by our members. The SAEF is also responsible for supporting members in obtaining Protea Colours and ensuring that our sport remains drug-free.
Dressage SA (DSA) is the National Discipline Association as recognised by SAEF and FEI and is responsible for all the aspects of managing the Discipline of Dressage in South Africa.
SANESA is a vibrant and dynamic organization, acknowledged by the South African Equestrian Federation (SAEF) and SASCOC, and has dedicated itself to promoting all forms of Equestrian sport within South Africa’s schools’ community. The Members of SANESA (Schools) are represented by their Learners.
